They can seen interesting for a while, but too many people become obsessed with them, and can't stop talking about them.

@onewithshoes A "conspiracy theory" is any idea that goes against whatever narrative about a particular topic is beneficial to, and therefore enforced by, the state, on any given day. And what is beneficial one day may be detrimental the next, and so what is deemed a "conspiracy theory" changes on a day-by-day basis, an ever changing present, enforced by the state.
So yeah, I'm not surprised people "cant stop talking about them", when 99% of reality that isn't in line with the narrative of the day is considered a "conspiracy theory". Have a slightly different view about absolutely anything in existence that differs even just 1% to whatever the accepted consensus of the day is and see how quickly very unintelligent people will throw the "conspiracy theorist" label at you.
