The attack on Paul Pelosi

Will any of you who pushed the conspiracy theories regarding the incident now admit how wrong it was to do so?

They always knew the conspiracy theories were bullshit, they just didn't care. Conservatism is anti-reality.

@BohemianBoo It really is reaching the point with MAGA people that their opinions are little more than attention seeking. Its not about being correct or even plausible. Its about who can come up with the stupidest or sickest therory and get attention. Jewish Space Lasers anyone??😷
@whowasthatmaskedman That's why I think this stuff with George Santos is so funny. Like my dude, you made Trump the face of your party. Of course you're going to end up with psychopaths like Santos.

I really want to believe that, but judging by the SW MAGAs, and Fox News, it's really hope against hope. There are no good guys on both sides of this issue.
@Northwest I think the fact that they just believe every crazy conspiracy theory as long as it's right-wing shows that they don't care whether it's true or not. For the Right, it's more about repeating the talking-points. Reality is beside the point.

@sunsporter1649 Except none of these right-wing conspiracy theories are ever proven true.

@BohemianBoo Conspiracy theories arent about being true. They are either about allowing people to avoid facing the truth. Or to allow people to gather into a common cause, when they feel so isolated and insignificant they cant find another way to go on...😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I agree with all that, plus it's about feeling special. Like you have this amazing truth that 99% of society doesn't know about.
I think that's why the modern Right keeps fragmenting. A community based around conspiracy theories can't get too big because then the "truth" that you know isn't special anymore. Your community always has to be small to be special.
