A Very Wise Man Recently Said This.....

To those who still voted for hate and divide:

Turn off the cable news.

Stop refreshing the comment sections waiting for someone to tell you it was rigged.

It wasn't rigged.

You just got your teeth kicked in by reality.

Look at the numbers.

Look at the suburbs, the working towns, the young people who stood in line for hours just to vote against your sickness.

You thought terrorizing librarians, worshipping executive power, and carrying water for overseas dictators made you look tough.

It didn't.

It made you look weak, paranoid, and profoundly un-American.

My grandfather’s generation knew how to spot a reactionary fraud from a mile away.

Last night, the rest of this country finally remembered how to do it, too.

You pushed the country to the brink thinking we’d blink first.

We didn't.

You gambled the entire Republic on a crusade of pure malice, and the house just cleaned you out.

Deal with it.
