Argentina play an open deck at the World Cup.

Folk looked on in outrage as Argentine players Nahuel Molina and Leandro Paredes charged at Spain after the referee blew the whistle. It followed a red card and what fans say was a series of fouls by Argentina in the match and other World Cup matches. Argentina scored two goals in the semifinal against England in a match that prompted Britain's prime minister to demand Argentina be penalized for celebrating with the banner Las Malvinas son Argentinas, or “The Falklands are Argentine.”

Argentina has upset everybody at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and I like it.

The hate of the Argentine player is born of a feminized world. Football was a game for men played by men. It is now a game for the world and loved by woman. But Argentina, Argentina say they don't care. And I stand with this proud nation.

@emiliya There is no hatred. Not even of their hairy president with his garden tools. This was not manly though (the rugby players tried the same tricks the previous evening), just tedious posturing. If they focused more on the ball than their banners and fists, they might stand a chance of winning! Instead it was the plucky Spanish communists who prevailed 😌
