Nothing, my neighbor has his entire garage stuffed from ceiling to floor with food and supplies.
Strange dude he is.

I really dislike panic buying.

Hypothetically tinned food.

Tin opener.
Matches.
Dry tinder.
Soap.
Spade.
Bucket - at least 2
Sharp knife.
Mirror.
Hammock.
Wind-up torch; radio; dynamo.
Saw.
String - at least two different thicknesses.
Rope - at least two different thicknesses.
Drinking water.
Flour.
Dried egg.
Lentils; peas; chickpeas; dried soup; pasta. Dried herbs and spices.

And probably a damn great truck to carry it all in ! 🤔

We practice every year before hurricane season. I just wish we did a better job of using "nonperishable" food before the expiration date.

Water, fuel in case of power outages for an alternative way to cook and heat water, batteries, medicine, first aid supplies, health & hygiene items, various foods. If you have an excess of alcohol or other things in demand you could use those to barter with. Protein foods, easy to heat or cook items, shelf stable dairy ( calcium tablets in case of shortages ), flours and other pantry foods to make breads etc with and paper copies of simple recipes to make them.

Coffee, creamer, chocolate, frozen pizza, and bacon.

I had a good run

Water, oil, instant potatoes, peanut butter, canned veggies and meats, alternative cooking fuel and stove.
Supplements, medications and coffee, tea.

Books.

Lots of books.

They'll stave off the boredom.

And eventually serve a second purpose...

Water, toilet paper and Toenail clippers.

Nonperishable foods. Clean water. Stuff to sanitize water. A tent, backpack and a sleeping bag. A couple of guns, ammo and knives.
