Strange dude he is.

I really dislike panic buying.

Hypothetically tinned food.

I'll give you that, the prices are reasonable but maybe there is a reason ;)
As for what's not to like is the outbreaks of fighting on a Saturday night ;)
@Nimbus There's nothing like a romantic date surrounded by bouncers!

Awww, as for that I hope things improve soon!
exexec · 70-79, C
We practice every year before hurricane season. I just wish we did a better job of using "nonperishable" food before the expiration date.

@Roundandroundwego Water, oil, instant potatoes, peanut butter, canned veggies and meats, alternative cooking fuel and stove. Water, oil, instant potatoes, peanut butter, canned veggies and meats, alternative cooking fuel and stove.

All 👍 aside from the coffee, I can't stand it!
@Nimbus everything should be easy to cook or eat with minimal cooking fuel.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
Water, fuel in case of power outages for an alternative way to cook and heat water, batteries, medicine, first aid supplies, health & hygiene items, various foods. If you have an excess of alcohol or other things in demand you could use those to barter with. Protein foods, easy to heat or cook items, shelf stable dairy ( calcium tablets in case of shortages ), flours and other pantry foods to make breads etc with and paper copies of simple recipes to make them.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
Books.

Lots of books.

They'll stave off the boredom.

And eventually serve a second purpose...
Nimbus · M
@Thodsis Good thinking ;)
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@Nimbus That would be another use for the books....
@Thodsis a kindle will hold a lot of audio and old time TV and radio. Audio books are good company.

@jackjjackson I might change my mind about the depth of the hole, and try to build a bomb shelter...🤣🤣🤣
You would have to stock a bomb shelter @4meAndyou
4meAndyou · F
@jackjjackson Yeah...and it's going to take a LOT of candy and cookies and pies and cakes to do that...🤣🤣🤣
