@Thinkerbell People provide ID when registering to vote. This whole voter ID charade stems from Trump’s endless, bottomless obsession with the 2020 election.

When I registered to vote about 25 years ago, all I had to show was a driver's license, and I didn't have to prove citizenship to get that license. Does the board of elections check to see if their registrants are all citizens? I doubt it. They don't even take dead or moved voters off the rolls for years.
