Why do we obscure the violence? It is reality that people need to be confronted with. They think the human body is a thing. A toy you can play with. They hear of a person being murdered and think they know what happened. They don't.

The gore-lovers are going to watch it regardless. Show it. Let them see what death is all about. It is no work of fiction. No Hollywood movie.

Americans don't hate violence they endlessly support wars and arm and stoke conflicts for the money they make on weapons everywhere.
Even in their own country they promote high death rates from guns, cars and poverty.
Obviously the current conflicts throughout the world were designed by US weapons "providers" to maximize their short term profits. There's a revolving door between government, the arms industry and the media.

@Roundandroundwego as we have seen throughout history, both parties have supported wars, both parties have funded wars. its not just the west though. although we have done our fair share.

I always think -" it's cuz she's not hanging out near me, I know how to distract people and get them to agree to leave the house and the food for twenty hours at a time, why would we let this keep happening- but I understand sometimes it's complicated by other issues.

@NativePortlander1970 They seem oblivious on transport nowadays. Sometimes it is good to have those teenagers in groups who gossip and poke fun at others. They are at least aware.
