Why do we obscure the violence? It is reality that people need to be confronted with. They think the human body is a thing. A toy you can play with. They hear of a person being murdered and think they know what happened. They don't.

The gore-lovers are going to watch it regardless. Show it. Let them see what death is all about. It is no work of fiction. No Hollywood movie.

Americans don't hate violence they endlessly support wars and arm and stoke conflicts for the money they make on weapons everywhere.
Even in their own country they promote high death rates from guns, cars and poverty.
Obviously the current conflicts throughout the world were designed by US weapons "providers" to maximize their short term profits. There's a revolving door between government, the arms industry and the media.

@Roundandroundwego i dont hate peace. i havent assaulted anyone all day long. it has been peaceful. i'll probably go the rest of the day without committing an assault. just as an example for the rest of the west to follow.

@MayorOfCrushtown individual people aren't a nation. And Americans would have political opposition to the wars and violence if they weren't a violent country. Maybe individual Americans actually do not seek the violent outcomes! They're perfectly ineffective.

@Roundandroundwego as we have seen throughout history, both parties have supported wars, both parties have funded wars. its not just the west though. although we have done our fair share.

@yestestvennaya oh dear oh dear. I always think -" it's cuz she's not hanging out near me, I know how to distract people and get them to agree to leave the house and the food for twenty hours at a time, why would we let this keep happening- but I understand sometimes it's complicated by other issues.
