RFK Jr. is a conspiracy theorist who opposes all vaccines, not just the COVID one. He also holds many views most conservatives would oppose. He has filed numerous pro-environmental lawsuits, including against the U.S. Navy, opposes factory farming, fossil fuels, fracking, the Dakota Access pipeline, coal, nuclear energy, and hydroelectric dams. He also supports a single-payer health care system and student loan forgiveness.
He also holds views many Democrats wouldn't go along with. He opposes gun control and trans women in girls' sports, and says the Russian invasion of Ukraine was justified. RFK also believes that China and the US are developing "ethnic bioweapons" designed to only affect members of certain races, despite the fact that this is scientifically impossible. He also believes that his uncle JFK and his father were assassinated by the CIA, and has supported Sirhan Sirhan's parole, despite the presence of several witnesses to his father's assassination who saw Sirhan fire the shots. Sirhan also confessed to the assassination, although he recanted a few years ago.
Despite being a Democrat, RFK is supported by Steve Bannon and David O. Sacks, who is also a DeSantis supporter. It should be obvious that RFK is a poor fit for both parties, and is only in the race as a disruptor.
I've already commented on Gabbard so I won't repeat that. However, she hasn't declared her candidacy. I suppose she's available for VP. Manchin is weighing a run for his old job of West Virginia governor, not the presidency. He's way too conservative to run as a Democrat nationwide, and as a former Democrat, wouldn't be trusted by Republicans.
I actually like your idea of candidates saying who will be in their cabinet. I just don't think it will ever happen as it will put the spotlight on more people and potentially harm their campaign if negative information comes out about a cabinet nominee. That's great for the public but not great for the candidate.

@jackjjackson That makes no sense. If you don't care who the candidate is, why even vote for any? Just vote on initiatives.

You misinterpreted your own comment. No surprise. @LeopoldBloom

Tulsi, yes. RFK - besides his views on vaccines, what does he stand for? The fact that Manchin didn't switch parties as the dims moved further and further left away from what the majority of WV citizens who elected him want, and even what he professes to believe, disqualifies him.
Another thing about RFK is it is painful to hear him speak. Not his fault, but people have voted against someone for dumber reasons. Not that listening to Biden stumble and bumble his was through a speech isn't worse.

Gabbard if I voted Democrat.

I think the Dems should probably nominate RFK, and the greens should run Cornell West.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Brilliant. Who for the GOP? @Roundandroundwego
originnone · 61-69, M
VP is such a meaningless position though....High cabinet positions are so much more prestigious.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Add Ramaswamy to the list.

RFK, Jr? Really? You think he's going to save us? I guess that means you think the Jews really are trying to kill white people.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Sorry to disappoint you. I’m quite healthy. In terrific physical shape not remotely an ounce overweight and have tons of longevity genes. Depending on your lifestyle I may outlive you. @basilfawlty89

@jackjjackson doubt it, mate. You lot claim Trump is in "terrific shape" and he's got bigger tatas than Melania, or his side chick Ivanka.
Death is gonna come, mate. Statistically, I'm right. And the sad thing is you're gonna die really bitter and full of hatred. Sad.

Interesting. Only YOU mentioned Trump in this thread. Then you ramble. You can’t help yourself. @basilfawlty89
