@smiler2012 A gay teacher could get charged for saying, My Wife in DeSantis world. DeSantis is dangerous on so many levels from education, to homophobia, to pandering to White Supremacists. He's a dangerous man to so many people.

@ElwoodBlues I saw a clip on TV where there were no books in a school library because they were being reviewed. By Who? I get the feeling Huckleberry Finn would be banned because of Black Characters in the book. DeSantis doesn't want Conservative White Kids getting offended. They need a safe place, like the State of Florida.

@Pitchblue Florida passed a law in 2022 that said educators could be prosecuted for 3rd degree felony if they display any unapproved books.

And nobody knows what's been approved.

So the only safe way for educators to stay out of jail is to HIDE ALL THE BOOKS!!!

@BohemianBoo Right now MAGA, Mr. Pillow, Bannon, etc are attacking DeSantis but the second they think he can win they will switch to a Trump, DeSantis ticket. That would be a disaster for the country.

@Pitchblue Either guy would be a disaster, but I think the dumber Fascist would be less of a disaster. DeSantis, not being cartoonishly stupid, would pass more anti-democratic policies.
He has no chance of beating Trump in the primaries, though.
