Anti-Education, Fox And MAGA

Nine days ago, four students were brutally stabbed to death, near the U. of Idaho campus.

This morning's Fox News main banner:

Neighbor of murdered University of Idaho students describes crime scene location as a 'party house'

The evidence? An interview with a neighbor, who said:

There were parties that were kind of loud. As I would take my dog in and out to go to the bathroom, I would just be walking by, I would look up and I would see people in the windows almost every night, probably four or five nights a week. There were a lot of people that went into and out of that house pretty frequently.

People going in and out of a house, that has 5 college students living in it? And parties? How dare they. Well, they were going to college, obviously getting indoctrinated, so Fox needs to find dirt on them. Oh, and you could hear music at times. How fucking dare they!

One user here intonated that they were probably advocating liberal ideology and got what they deserved.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@calicuz Of course not, very skewed world view to come up with that immediately.
Northwest · M
@JimboSaturn Meanwhile, there's a sadistic killer on the loose. There's speculation, that the killer may have been training on pets. A couple in the same neighborhood, found their missing dog skinned, with a little fur left on its toes, before this murder. This is not over.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Northwest Crazy shit. I first heard it could be a murder suicide but I suppose they are not thinking that anymore. This is something from a horror movie.
Straylight · 31-35, F
They never pass up a chance to make a violent crime political.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Straylight They can make everything political. So can the left as well to some extent.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@JimboSaturn Anyone who sees a tragedy as a chance to promote a political agenda needs to reevaluate their life.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Straylight Yes it's disgusting.
Ynotisay · M
The one reliable thing about FOX is that will never miss an opportunity to sensationalize something to feed the fearful and hateful. In this case, I guess they're pushing the idea that these kids were addicts who deserved what happened. That plays well with the 85 year old grandma who is sick of the "kids these days." Twisted.
Northwest · M
@Ynotisay Or, Paul Pelosi deserved the near fatal beating he got, because his assailant must be a gay prostitute. Something Trump is still repeating.
@Northwest Donald Trump is an absolute pile of human excrement to even come up with something that vile. 😞
Well Fox News talking head Sean Hannity did attend Cal State Santa Barbara, which is a well know party school, but couldn't pass a class there and dropped out.

Hannity with his good republican values did dump his wife of 26 years so he could spend his time screwing Ainsley what's her name, another fox news bimbo.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
@independentone Let's hope Hannity's ex is getting a healthy share of the millions Fox pays him.
Northwest · M
@independentone U. of Idaho is tame. If you want a party school, you walk out of the WalMart at the edge of campus, and turn right, instead of left, and to Washington State U., up the street. That's a party school.
That was the same attitude during the Kent State killings. I remember being shocked at how many people (some who claimed to be devout) thought that those kids deserved to be shot dead for protesting, unarmed.

And these young people weren’t necessarily political, they were just students. And in Idaho, how "liberal" were they likely to be ? 😞

Faux News strikes again.
Northwest · M
@bijouxbroussard You would have to travel 300 miles in any directions, and 2,000 miles due East, from Moscow, to hit anything resembling blue, but that's not the point. These were college students. They are supposed to be having a good time on any Saturday night. Oh, and the shocker, they played music! Worse, they were getting an education.
calicuz · 56-60, M
The mainstream media has this really disgusting habit of trying sensationalize a news story when it isn't even warranted.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Ah, victim blaming. The tried and true tool of the Republicans.
OggggO · 36-40, M
My mother loves watching Inside Edition, and they also talked about it being called a party house by people nearby, but it didn't come across as anti-education (although I haven't seen FOx's coverage to compare directly). They were questioning how the murderer got inside in the middle of the night and speculated that if it was a frequent party location, the outer doors might not have been locked.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@OggggO Had the reporter ever been to college? "Locked building" is a concept. Broken locks, old doors, doors propped open or altered, the ability to yell up to a random window and get let in, walking in behind others, windows, roof access... I mean, come on.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Graylight Hell if I know. Inside Edition sucks for a lot of reasons, but they weren't being anti-education or victim blaming. I'm simply pointing out that the claim of it being a party house can be approached from many different angles depending on editorial intent.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
I am so sick of this shit.
Maybe they shouldn’t have dressed that way.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SatyrService And no doubt they put out 'signals.'
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@SatyrService Like in horror films, the most promiscuous get murder first, they are probably going down that puritanical alley lol
Graylight · 51-55, F
@JimboSaturn Great. Now we have to wait for the "smart sexy-but-serious" student to risk herself and get to the bottom of all this.
This is screwed up on so many levels. Can’t we sue faux news for their unethical and biased practices already?
Carazaa · F
Poor girls! Just going to university. Horrible!
@Carazaa I am terrified by the amount of crimes and shooting happening in school and colleges in USA.
