The news is an owned operation. It always has been that way. There is a newspaper in Canada called the Toronto Star. Its founding principle according to its founder is to promote progressivism. Of course the state owned news organizations all parrot the government line and here in Canada all the major news organizations are sponsored by the government. Does anyone honestly think that they will go against the government of the day?
