If i could vote for Speaker id vote Jim Jordan of Ohio. Hes a decent guy for a politician. I think he even has a PhD.

@checkoutanytime he was involved in a sex scandal at OSU, barely avoided being arrested, and you call him "decent?"

@samueltyler2 ive never heard that about him before now. It apparently did not stop voters from electing him, so it was probably just a publicity stunt by a rival or some smear campaign junk.

@checkoutanytime dont take my word, do your own research.

@samueltyler2 better than Pelosi, and hes not from my area so it means nothing to me. It was the first name that came to mind thats not McCarthy, he presents himself as more of an independent conservative than an establishment republican.

@checkoutanytime we will have to disagree about Rep Pelosi. She was/is a very effective speaker.

@samueltyler2 she did Schummers bidding well, i can concur. I dont support that style of America, i prefer the more liberated America of old, to the direction we are headed. Taxes on everything, more taxes on everything to pay for social services 🚫

@checkoutanytime I like Jordan as Speaker
