Trumpism doesn't fit well in America.
The American people are too kind, decent, respectful and polite to fully embrace Trumpism. We don't have much respect for sore losers, people who storm the Capital or joke about hammering someone's head in.

Trumpism largely took root because an economic collapse fostered hard times and bitterness and people wanted to find something to blame. The guy came in telling them it was okay to blame others. He fed the bitterness and took advantage of the despair.
That's not stuff that fosters longevity though.
