The 2024 national election taking shape already

An interesting contrast in the victory speeches of Governors DeSantis and Newsom on the definition of "freedom", with DeSantis declaring it as escaping all forms of "wokeness" and Newsom describing it as embracing diversity and justice rather than banning books, speech, and abortion.

If that turns out to be the race I don't think DeSantis wants any part of Newsom. He's got stones and has NO fear of the extremists. He calls them out for what they are and legislates in the best interests of his constituents. I'm a Californian and would vote for him in a heartbeat.

@Ynotisay I'm a Californian too. I'm not so sure that his Metro-sexual persona, billionaire friends, and constant need to flaunt his vocabulary and talk everything to death would translate that well nationally.
