These election day threats are getting close to home

Kenner is a relatively diverse and democratic island inside of a hugely conservative and more affluent parish, and the school in question is a tremendously popular charter school with a huge waiting list full of kids from all over the metropolitan area.

Thankfully, the school was closed today, and hopefully none of my friends who teach there will be affected, but at the same time, this violence stuff really gets me.

Please, SWeeps, even if you believe the other side is the devil and wants to exterminate or outbreed you, think twice before you take preemptive action.

This one, assuming it's not a hoax, is a pretty good example of how pointless such violence might be. Kenner's relative minority and slightly more Democratic voting base is miniscule compared to the rest of Jefferson Parish, and while it might be an easy place to avoid prosecution for making a political statement, its not likely to actually make a damned bit of difference.

I hope they can scan the place and let kids go back to school tomorrow, and all this crap will end up costing is thousands taxpayer dollars, but it really seems like a waste.

Who would have more to gain from a bomb threat in this election? Gain from keeping a record turn out from voting ? All political violence is ugly , something no democrat said about the BLM and ANTIFA violence a few years back . They said they didnt blame them ( Kamala, Pelosi, AOC…) so what’s changed? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@TexChik Republicans gain more from discouraging Democratic voters from turning out. The whole Republican narrative is to do what you can to stop Democrats from voting.
@justanothername The entire democrat narrative is to claim
.The whole Republican narrative is to do what you can to stop Democrats from voting.

Your problem is simple math. Democrats don't have the votes. You're the minority and everyone knows it.

@BizSuitStacy Baseless accusations
@justanothername I agree. No republican has done or said anything to stop democrats from voting...as long as it's done legally. And we know you asshats will cheat.

@justanothername only in your mind .

@BizSuitStacy Speaking of cheating, did you look in the mirror ?

@TexChik make it harder for people to vote by putting uncertainty in their mind.
@justanothername oh burn 🙄
@justanothername Got any real examples of making it harder for people to vote? Oh right...20% of the Maricopa County election machines are down. Republican county. Weird.

@BizSuitStacy Luzerne County, Pa., election officials and leaders of the Democratic and Republican parties in Luzerne County were in court for a hearing Tuesday afternoon seeking approval to extend voting hours on election night because of a paper shortage.
@TexChik Honestly, my point with this post is its pretty stupid and mostly just affects kids and teachers.

I don't really give as much of a crap about what sociopaths want to turn the world into, after they've done fucking it up and killed the opposition, as I'm concerned about the means to their ends.

Maybe, at the end of the day, a few thousand white "Christian" human beings living is worth the sacrifice.

I'm just not buying that yet.

@MistyCee What the democrats are doing to children is unspeakable. Biden is a demented pedophile. You are aligning yourself with the very things you claim to hate. The irony must be maddening.
@TexChik Not really that maddening because I'm pretty cool with what I'm aligning myself against, tbh.
