It's not so much that Trump's supporters don't like him. They're just getting tired of him and want him to name a successor. But if he runs again it will be difficult for anyone else to beat him for the nomination. That's the RNC nightmare as the party poo-bahs don't think he can win reelection.

Maybe Murdoch saw the poll numbers…apparently only 15% of self identified Trump supporters actually want him to run in 2024. They’ll happily vote for him if he runs, but they’d rather have someone who can stay in for 8 years if they win
