If you want to stop having energy sapping heat waves every summer for the rest of your life then the US and the rest of the world needs to move away from its reliance on fossil fuels. They are the main cause of the increased rate of climate change.

@sunsporter1649 I’d say Miami Beach is a wee bit far south for icebergs. How ever 120 degree heat waves are all across the US right now :) and they are making sure that icebergs are all melted by the time they reach Boston.

@sunsporter1649 Are you really opposed to having a habitable planet for your children, grandchildren and Future generations? Or are fossil fuel industry profits more important?

@GrinNude I'm still waiting for those icebergs to show up off Miami Beach I was told about in 1959.

@justanothername You bought the entire package eh?

@SW-User I take it you love a good nationwide heat wave each year huh. With no AC.

@justanothername And the northeast had a cold spring - it's called weather

@SW-User Sorry, my friend, it's global average temperature that is important. Weather forecasters keep repeating that. I would think by now it would have sunk in. Are you still a climate denier? That's no longer the Republica party line. You have a lot of catching up to do, my friend. The party line now is that climate change is a problem but it's not a crisis.

@SW-User I wouldn't call it a religion. But there certainly is a spiritual aspect to caring for Mother Earth and the other species that share this planet with us.
