Ah, I see. It is the leak that is appalling, not the blatant violation of women's reproductive rights.

[big]John Roberts calls Supreme Court leak 'absolutely appalling'[/big]

Chief Justice John Roberts said Thursday that the leak of a draft opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade is "absolutely appalling" and stressed that he hopes "one bad apple" would not change "people's perception" of the nation's highest court and workforce.

In his first public appearance since the leak on Monday, Roberts also said that if "the person" or "people" behind the leak think it will affect the Supreme Court's work they are "foolish."
Why is Roberts afraid of transparency merely arriving ahead of schedule? If this indeed becomes the final opinion, it is just quibbling to be upset over us in the majority who oppose it finding out a month or two earlier.

No doubt if Drumpf were Chief Justice, he would be calling for the execution of the leaker.

That leak is the proof there are people out there who use the public to manipulate our justice system.
I can't blame Roberts too much for that. He's an institutionalist, and his institution got hacked in a way that may screw up a lot of other institutions and people that depend on them.

On top of that, I actually think he wrestles with his conscience sometimes, which a lot of pro-life folks don't.

Of course, it's going to affect the way the Court works, but I think he thinks it's his job to deny it.

Nobody’s rights have been violated. Drafting point and counter point essays and arguments is what SCOTUS judges do .
That’s literally their job .

@CorvusBlackthorne feel free to engage in what if scenarios .
Orange filled a LOT of court seats, not just SCOTUS.
If RBG wasn’t so fuxking selfish (yea I said it ) this leak would have not occurred .
(The draft however still would have been written ).

@CorvusBlackthorne but to answer your question : peoples opinions change over time .

@CorvusBlackthorne a judge can still be pro life and see this as a states issue too .

Read USC 1503. Doesn't matter what the decisions are the threats are felony act. The FBI is eligible to charge every nutbag on TikT0K saying them and toss them in prison, cancel their civil right to obtain a federal job, serve in miitary, own or possess a firearm, be denied passprt and visas in exit nation travel with diplomatic protection, collect ex servicemens benefits, run for office, enter federally owned buidings...

But don't worry. That won't happen. Democrats never enforce laws. You saw how they encourage rioting calling it "peaceful protests" and pulling false flag things like the DC mess at inauguration.
Like you said, the "leak" is what’s appalling to them

Not the loss of women’s reproductive rights.

They disgust me. Hell, even Trump used to say (describing anyone’s behavior but his own) "If there’s nothing to hide, why hide ?"
