Salon reports the GOP already has enough seats to win back House in 2022 midterms
GOP already has enough safe seats — through redistricting alone — to win back House in '22. Speaker McCarthy, or Speaker Trump? Republicans already have a majority locked down — and they're not done yet*
Republican-led states have already added enough safe seats through redistricting to flip control of the House of Representatives in next year's midterm elections.*

Here's how the New York Times analysis put it**:
At the same time, Republicans’ upper hand in the redistricting process, combined with plunging approval ratings for President Biden and the Democratic Party, provides the party with what could be a nearly insurmountable advantage in the 2022 midterm elections and the next decade of House races.**
Looks like the Left has some serious blowback from buyer's remorse to deal with as the Red Wave tsunami has opened the floodgates.

[c=800000]Until voter theft swamps the actual vote tally. [/c]

Excellent point. But I do think that some mitigating measures have been taken in the background since Trump's departure to help prevent or at least curtail that possibility. However, wasn't it Joe Stalin who said something to the effect that what is more important is who will count the votes?

@ProfessorPlum77 only in blue states, Red states have cheat proofed
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@PatKirby I think it was Stalin.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@TexChik Probably. However, I do remember a US Senate race in Mississippi. I think the Tea Party candidate had beaten the Republican candidate in the primary. In the general election, the Republican resorted to slimeball tactics and supposedly beat out the Tea Party candidate. Neither party is snake proof.
TexChik · F
@ProfessorPlum77 I have no idea about what occurred there.

@TexChik [c=800000] Something nefarious. I think this was back in the days of Trent Lott, but I could be mistaken on that. [/c]

@ProfessorPlum77 Then ancient political history really is not pertinent to the conversation about cheat proofing future elections
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@TexChik Is ten years ago "ancient political history"?
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@TexChik My point is, both parties cheat.
TexChik · F
@ProfessorPlum77 I'm sure there are some but , as means to steal a national election? Only the democrats would dare do that
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@TexChik Perhaps. If you are referring to 2020, I agree with you. Biden may have gotten 8,000 votes. There is NO WAY he received 80,000,000! However, the Republicans are not above resorting to Democratic tactics in order to win a US Senate seat against a Tea Party member.
