Ivermectin has many uses in humans. It is primarily an anti-parasitic but its anti viral properties are well known. It was approved for human consumption back in the late 1990s and has a very good safety record with very low incidents of harm. A lot of doctors are recommending its use as a preventative medication and are taking it themselves to prevent catching covid. Most of them report very good success rates. I see there were 61 double blind studies conducted world wide and 59 of them concluded that Ivermectin was very effective in treating covid both prophylactically and as a treatment. It seems best when used early in the course of the disease. Sadly the Lancet published a 'study' since withdrawn that said Ivermectin was not good. However when people pointed out the flaws in that study the Lancet pulled it without explanation. Sadly the media still clings to that false study and foolish people believe what ever the media says so....
You FAILED to provide any evidence whatsoever that ivermectin has any effectiveness against coronaviruses. Since it's ineffective, against Covid, why use it?
It's also unsafe.
Poison control centers nationwide said there was a threefold increase in calls related to exposure to ivermectin in January compared to the pre-pandemic period, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As of July, “ivermectin calls have continued to sharply increase, to a fivefold increase” from the time before the pandemic, the CDC said.
@NoahB As long as hippy contiunues to talk you'll find contradictions...more and more made up "I know so and so....who had this and this happen". He will never show you proof of anything. It's just a continual string of delusional conspiracy theories and made up crap.

@hippyjoe1955 I'm sorry if that is true. but you never back up anything you say with evidence if they died because of the vaccine why haven't you sued or gone extremely public. for once back up your claims for them otherwise you are just another nutter screaming on the Internet
My husband's entire family in Mexico is drinking chlorine dioxide on a daily basis thinking it's going to prevent covid. Seven of those relatives still got covid and one of them actually died from it.
@NoahB most of them are vaccinated and I think the others intend to get vaccinated. They are still drinking this stuff and have been since some time last year. It's just weird to me
It is effective. Continue listening to what the media , CDC and the FDA and Dr Fauci are saying, they are all behind this BS. Of course they are telling you it won't work because the big pharm and everyone else involved with Covid won't get paid. Sheep follow sheep...
@Elessar lol. i just want them to put their money where their mouth is. okay ivermectin works? prove it i'll listen. but they just shy away and say "well it works against worms and uhh... the flu!" as if covid hasn't proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that its, NOT like the flu at all. thats why the flu vaccine doesnt work on it!! lol ahhh whatever
@NoahB They don't care about it working or not, they care about having a reason to defy general science/medicine. Even at the cost of their own lives. To own the libs.
@Elessar doing some reading on the seed that spawned the 'ivermectin is the cure' tangle... and apparently in the (now retracted case study) they used 400mcg/kg daily of ivermectin. and the approved human doseage 150mcg/kg once in a year....
...so uh... yeah... they completely shredded those guys' nervous system up to get a "maybe it kinda sorta helps against covid" result lol.
Louisiana doctors had to tell patients the bad news who were admitted into their hospital that the horse dewormer didn't work because it was misinformation, they still got covid.
About halfway down talking about Louisiana in the first link and apparently they're also hospitalizing people taking the medicine out of disorientation episodes and all that in the second link.
@SatanBurger Yes, Ivermectin can have some nasty side effects; see "Serious Neurological Adverse Events after Ivermectin" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5929173/
I went to the funeral in June of a friend who was taking Ivermectin. He had a cardiac event that killed him. Can’t say it was the result of his self-dosing w/ Ivermectin for about a year but I can tell you that he was strong man…
@NoahB I was told he had a seizure while he was sleeping and fell out of bed and coroner said it was a cardiac event. I looked up Ivermectin when he told me he was taking it. No clinic studies or dosages for humans for long-term usage. Always sounded dangerous to me…
@CantExplain yeah i just looked it up and apparently its only approved from human consumption at a doseage of 150mcg/kg a year. If he was taking it daily he probably way crossed that line and did some serious damage to himself.
@CantExplain Yeah, but random people on the Internet said it was effective. The word on the street is next week they are going to recommend weed killer (industrial strength) as a miracle fat burner.
@Virgo79 I know of several farmer friends of mine that have been using the animal Ivermectin to prevent catching the flu for years now. They never got sick from it from taking it and they never caught the flu. Hmmmm.
@Virgo79 I honestly don't know. I am simply reporting what my farmer friends tell me. They took some with no ill effects and have for years. It kind of reminds me of two old farmers discussing their bulls. One said that his bull was not breeding the cows so he took it to the vet. The vet gave the farmer some pills to give to the bull and the bull turned into an excellent breeder. The other farmer was amazed and wondered how the medicine worked. The first farmer said "I don't know but it tastes like mint".
@Elessar I can't answer for the original poster but some links I've been seeing has doctors saying they are admitting a lot of people with disorientation and confusion after taking Ivermectin, they didn't say the age though.
On here, I've ran into a lot of younger people who seem to be for it so I wouldn't say it's only boomers.
As for tide pods, it's actually growing over the years:
@SatanBurger okay but poison control hotlines were never overwhelmed by tide pod eaters lol. also that article is from 2018 when the tide pod thing was at its height
Want to hear some irony? The Rump cult has spent 5 years now calling anyone with half a brain that can see thru Rump and wonder about the cult's mentality.."sheep"......and now guess whose taking sheep de-wormer because to them it's medicine? You can't even make this kind of stuff up.
