I guess people are taking a drug called ivermectin instead of getting the covid vaccine vaccine

Ivermectin is some kind of horse dewormer. But I think there’s a version for humans too. However most people are taking the veterinary version intended for horses. (Easier to obtain)

It doesn’t work of course, covids not a worm. and the one one study claiming it did was pulled bc it was making up data. Ivermectin is a literal low power nerve agent (that’s how it kills the worms)

Personally I’m fine with people taking it. Not like you can stop them [b]HOWEVER[/b]

I don’t want to hear another god dang “kids eat tide pods” joke for the rest of my life. 😂😂😂

Ivermectin has many uses in humans. It is primarily an anti-parasitic but its anti viral properties are well known. It was approved for human consumption back in the late 1990s and has a very good safety record with very low incidents of harm. A lot of doctors are recommending its use as a preventative medication and are taking it themselves to prevent catching covid. Most of them report very good success rates. I see there were 61 double blind studies conducted world wide and 59 of them concluded that Ivermectin was very effective in treating covid both prophylactically and as a treatment. It seems best when used early in the course of the disease. Sadly the Lancet published a 'study' since withdrawn that said Ivermectin was not good. However when people pointed out the flaws in that study the Lancet pulled it without explanation. Sadly the media still clings to that false study and foolish people believe what ever the media says so....

@hippyjoe1955 yeah I’m aware I said there was a human version in my post. But those studies where it was proven to work in covid were pulled because the scientists couldn’t prove where they were getting their numbers.

@NoahB Not true. The opposite is the case. Japan is now recommending Ivermectin instead of the vax. The beneficial effects of using Ivermectin have been shown world wide. Sad that you seem to fall for the CDC NIH that is actively doing all it can to force everyone into getting the jab to make the shareholders of Pfizer and Moderna even richer. One would almost think there is financial incentive for this to happen. Oh yeah there is. The agencies in question work hand in glove with big pharma.

Just like the top grads are called. Just because a "doctor" prescribes something don't make it safe...or even intelligent. The AMA agrees........they are now revoking medical licenses for prescribing stupid, conspiracy theory "cures".

@anythingoes477 Actually one of the ones I know of is the top doctor in the US when it comes to having papers published. He treats patients and teaches medicine and does research. Your doctor is Fauci who has never treated a covid patient in his life. He likely has never seen a covid sufferer in his life. He is too busy taking Vitamin D and Ivermectin to prevent his catching the disease.

@hippyjoe1955 youre definitely right about being skeptical about big Pharma. The problem however is that big pharma does produce medicine that works (when it’s profitable to them). It’s been the justification for the privatized state of healthcare in america for decades.

@NoahB I have no problem with any medication that has been shown to work and has minimal side effects. However I am very skeptical of the present approach of a drug for every problem. Ever watch American TV? I don't usually but once in a while I get stuck in a hotel room. The silly drug solutions offered are mind numbing. "Do you suffer from bad burps? If so you should take this medication. Its side effects include loss of appetite, stomach cancer, instant death so consult with your doctor before starting this treatment that will cure your bad burps and make you completely irresistible to your loving mate." And silly people rush out because they are suddenly enlightened. OH MY GOODNESS THERE IS AN EPIDEMIC OF BAD BURPS!!!!

The bureaucrats run the place not the elected officials. The elected officials only serve at the bureaucrats pleasure. If a politician steps out of line he will be replaced at the next election or sooner. That is observed knowledge going back to the 70s when I became politically aware of how things run. Ever watch the British comedy "Yes Minister and its sequel Yes Prime Minister"? The bureaucrats that I know told me that the show was only funny because it was true. There is a huge difference between a doctor and one who actually practices medicine. Fauci does not have a medical practice. He is a bureaucrat. There is a difference. The research doctors I am talking about actually treat patients. They observe what each therapy they use does to their patient.

If you think an epidemiologist is some sort of doctor that treats patients then you are truly clueless. So far the epidemiologists are batting 0/1000. They haven't got one thing right including the rate of spread or the death rate. They all relied on the computer model from the guy whose climate computer models have been shown to be bogus. Do try to keep up. You keep getting lapped here and you look more foolish all the time. Tell you what. Why don't you try doing a little research before commenting.
