Until the floods come or a storm uproots them.
However, I love trees and have a newly planted one (2yrs) outside my house which this Spring is beginning to look really attractive. Once deep rooted they last longer than people and give life and shelter to many creatures. More trees please.

The tree was revisited this year. It continues to be vigorous. Drawing nutrients from the soil. It is soon to lie dormant till next year, but it will return in its glory.
The branches protect its sapling.
It continues to give stability and hope.

I love the big live oak tree that covers our front yard. I even forgive its dropping its leaves in Feb. every year.
