These poor kids and their treacherous trek in the middle of a blizzard

They had to bundle each and every kid up (preschool age) and instruct each of them very carefully to walk in a straight line and to keep their mouths covered since it’s hard to breathe with wind blowing in their face . Each of the little ones were tethered together so that none of them gets left behind. Four adults were with them the whole time. One at the front, one at the back and two in the middle keeping watch making sure everyone made it okay. What would’ve been about two-minute walk ended up taking a bit over half an hour because of the blizzard. Thankfully each and every one made it and were greeted with warm soup and hot chocolate. Those poor kids, though. Thank goodness each of them made it okay. I can’t imagine what their parents were thinking. 🥺
