Thunder Storm woke me up .....

And because it blanked out time by shutting off power, everything came back on like the 'BIG BANG' ...whoosh in a violent cacophony, and all were reset to live another glorious day,

Everything got reset but me . I just buried my head in in my pillows and begged the heavens for just a few more hours of unconsciousness.

A couple years ago we had such a a bad snowstorm in winter that the power went out for 2 weeks. My oldest sister had to come over to get warm cause she didn't have a fireplace. Had trouble sleeping in my room which was 45 f

When that happens here -- on a hot day, anyway -- I usually turn off our window air conditions so that when the power comes back on there isn't a huge surge that might blow the house circuit breakers. Can that REALLY happen -- I'm not sure, but I don;t take the chance.
