A very long night

Storms all night. My phone went off 3 times with weather warnings which made him more afraid.

He was so scared all night. He barely slept. I didn't sleep at all. I'm taking the day off to be with him. I've never seen him this bad over storms before. He was so scared he was shacking.

I am going to call his new counselor and talk to him about it. I don't like seeing my tiny tornado like this! I gotta figure out what we need to do to help him!

Is it always like that with your boy or episodic and different, during inclement weather? You've talked alot about, your kiddos having sensitives higher than normal. Obviously Sight and Hearing are the big ones. Just curious about the harder ones that are less obvious to pick up on. Like barometric pressure, smell, and emotional response (didn't even think about this one).

I'm one of nuts that loves storms and would go out, in one after the front came through. 😅 Obviously when my kids were younger, I had to fight the urge to go chasing.
@Levenrack he has never liked them much but it has gotten worse since his mother left and now with us moving to the new house. Last night has the worst I've seen him. I couldn't put him down at all. He held on so tight and was shaking at times. I even thought about giving him one of his sisters anxiety pills but I didn't.
