Rainy day in KC

Thank goodness Joel is finally wake and he ate breakfast. He's in the shower now and I'm starting a pot of beef stew and I'll make biscuits when it ready.

Joel's x wife is taking the boys for the night so it's just me, Joel and my daughter. It is going to be a very calm evening. Got the fireplace on, jazz music playing. We'll watch the royals and banana ball tonight and make s'mores.

I am exhausted though. I have barely slept since Thursday. I thought about taking my sleeping pills tonight since the boys will be gone but if my daughter where to get up and sleep walk I don't know if I'd wake up when her door alarm went off. And if Joel takes another pain pill he wouldn't hear it either. And I couldn't ask him to not take one. He's in alot of pain since the relocated his rib. There is a lot more bruising too

So I will just have to suck it up
