Devil beating his wife? [I Like Thunder Storms]

My grandmother once told me that when I heard thunder, the devil was beating his wife. She must have been one bad girl if the devil himself had to beat her for misbehaving. Maybe she was being nice 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mom used to tell me it was grandma bowling in heaven. The really loud ones were when she bowled a strike. I still sometimes say "way to go, grandma" when there's a loud thunderboom
