School closings: Middle Tennessee districts dismiss early due to severe weather potential.
I grew up mostly in the north, they almost never closed schools for any weather event, here down south they close because its raining. Oh brother. In the real world no one closes because of rain.

@Confined lol, I know. I'm a northern transplant too. It's hilarious that they close schools for rain, wind and snow that never happens.

Tornado watch just went into effect 3:43pm. School is long over. There was no other bad weather all day, yet schools were closed at lunch.
