So...the storm coming up the eastern seaboard is supposed to be a BAD one. It's huge.

Snow will hit the eastern coastal cities and will fall hard all the way over into Pennsylvania! They are saying on the news that the eastern seaboard can expect to lose power, and that the SNOW will probably be measured in FEET, not inches.

They are warning all residents of the east coast to make preparations for the big power outages. YAY! NOT!!

I’m hoping it starts later here than they’re saying. I don’t wanna be snowed in where I am now.

Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as they’re expecting for any of us!

@MellyMel22 It will probably be light when it starts. They are saying it will start around 4 pm today, Sunday, and it will be bad beginning overnight and all day tomorrow, when there will be blizzard conditions.

@4meAndyou Same here, I just shared this on a post. I think I’m gonna be where I am till around 7.

@MellyMel22 I hope you DON'T get stuck there. Ask your work if you can leave early due to the blizzard!

@4meAndyou I’m babysitting and the parents took a 2.5 hour train ride to go to a show and then have the same ride home. They paid up front for the trip and show, so I didn’t wanna cancel on them.

@MellyMel22 How are THEY supposed to get home? Well, at least you are in a private home. If I were you, I would search for the candles, flashlights, batteries, sterno and sterno stove if they have one, and make sure the blankets are easily accessible.

@4meAndyou Thank you for the suggestions. I know where some candles are.. They’re taking a train.

@MellyMel22 And their CAR is parked in the train station parking lot. IF they get home tonight, and IF you decide to drive home, don't go faster than 20 mph. Creep and crawl back home, and be very, very cautious!

@4meAndyou I had to get dropped of which is worse b/c now it’s two ways out. They have side street parking and without snow cars get swiped, so I def don’t want mine there during or after a storm.
