Snow Shoveling. Exercise or Drudgery?

Well 6 inches fell last night. Got out at 6:30 am to clear the porch, steps, and sidewalk. Ate breakfast and went to clear out the driveway.
The snow plow came by and had to go back out to clear the end of the driveway. It felt refreshing and invigorating to be out in the cold

Most of us need the exercise. But here in Norway snow shovelling is a major proximate cause of heart attacks amongst the elderly in the winter when people suddenly work too hard for too long.

@OverTheHill The weatherman is predicting a couple more inches. We'll see. It is nice to get out in it, isn't it? I don't like the bitter cold but I do love snow.
