What is it like to not have an internal monologue?

Is it all visual? what happens in the quiet moments when you are by yourself? Are you on stand by?

I swear I have monologues judging monolgues who are in turn vetting those judgements. There is just always conversation in there.

after seeing your question I googled it because I remembered reading that some people don't have an internal monologue. . apparently its estimated that 30 to 50% of people don't have an internal monologue, I didn't think it was so much. I don't always have inner monologue, I can also just visualize things. I often use inner monologue to develop an idea, I imagine myself explaining the idea to someone else. it helps to really wrap my mind around a concept if i have to explain it to someone.

@reflectingmonkey I was watching a Youtube video that involves a streaming couple and the guy pointed out he realized she didn't have an internal monologue and I had to look it up and I was lead to that google search. I was surprised by the percentage as well.
