I have a dumb question about plants...

I want to pour my old fish tank water on them when I do a water change because I know plants love nitrates,
And I feel bad for pouring it down the drain.
But I also put salt in my tank.
It's not much, (about 3tsp per 75litres)

Would that that much salt kill or harm the plants if I did do that?

@Fishy I'm not sure! It probably depends on the type of plant

Some plants would be tolerant of it while others wouldn't be 😩

I keep considering getting them. But then don't do it.

@sstronaut they're easy! You need rainwater or distilled water, that's the main thing. And don't let them dry out (depending on the type)

They also like a lot of light, like most plants ☺
