Over watering or poor drainage is usually the cause of gnats. If that's the case simply leave the top soil to go dry for as long as possible between watering and the problem will right itself they ain't attracted to dry topsoil so they don't lay larve or anything in it once they hatch in the soil they'll just bugger off or die. They only have life cycles of about a week so it's quite an easy one to solve if it's just an over wet soil issue.

Couple drops of dish detergent in a spray bottle of water. Not too much just a couple drops usually works.

How do i get rid of plant gnats?
Vinegar mixture: Fill a shallow saucer with 2-3 drops of liquid dish soap and a cup of white vinegar. Place the bowl near your plant — the gnats will be attracted to the solution and fall into the trap. Keep repeating the process until all the gnats are gone
