WandererTony · 56-60, M
This is beautiful and sublime. I wonder why it is called the eagles nest. You might know the reason. Care to share?
moonlightlullaby · 46-50, F
@WandererTony It's due to the shape. You can really see it in the first picture. They even named the town after it.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
@moonlightlullaby oh ok! See it now. Actually i had been to a place called Tigers Nest in Bhutan. It was a Buddhist monastery nestled high in the hills at Tatsang. Has a fable of Padmasambhava flyingnto the location.
Thought there might be a similar story.
