I ask this because I just sold part of my property. The realtor wouldn't tell me anything about him. Or what he's going to do with the land. I signed papers on Wednesday, and on Thursday I hear several 4 wheelers out there making so much noise that I'll have to wear earplugs if I want any peace and quiet. I've lived here my whole life and felt very calm and relaxed. Now I'll have to up my anxiety meds or sell my house and move somewhere else.
I met him today and asked him about the 4 wheelers I heard. He said yes him and his buddies like to ride 4 wheelers and party.

The peace in the country:

@CrazyMusicLover I could live with all that and have lived with all that but 4 wheeling till 10:00 at night is intolerable.

@CrazyMusicLover this is so true 😂

@melissa001 I understand, it would irritate me too. What is unacceptable to me is smoke. People heating with wood but also burning all kind of trash with it. Imagine living in a valley where everyone in a village does this every winter. It's a nightmare and health hazard.

@CrazyMusicLover we always used to burn wood
I love the smell of it. But I agree, smelling trash does not smell so good.

@melissa001 law in at least Ohio is quiet from 1100 pm to 0700 am . 8 hours for sleep. Otherwise it's as noisy as they want

@melissa001 then you can try to hold him/ them to the law but..... Country means police are few and far between.
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@Applepiedom I have a cop living 5 house down on my road and 1 down the opposite side down the road. They both party and have underage drinking and I know people who've gone to their parties and say drugs are there too.. so I know they will be of known help.

@melissa001 Anonymous tip to local TV maybe?
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@Neoerectus I knew one of them from highschool and he's a beloved police officer I doubt that would work.
Plus he lets people he knows get by with everything.
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@Neoerectus my cousin who lives right next to me lost his a long time ago and the officer knows he doesn't have a license. But he has yet to be taken to jail.
