What animal you've always wanted to see in real life? I've wanted to see a deer and finally saw one.

AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
I've seen a lot. The only one I haven't and would love to see is a duckbill platypus

A Spirit Bear (also know as a Kermode bear). They are a subspecies of the black bear but because of a mutant gene they have pure white fur. Some people say Spirit bears have some kind of mystical power so I think it would be cool to see one. Cheers!

A porcupine
You're talking about animals in the wild and not in zoos? We have cougars where I live. I've seen plenty of the horny woman variety, but not the big cat.

Well I must say a deer isn’t one of the my favorite animal. They ruined every single car I’ve owned. Just lucky. But my record is better than most game hunters.
And Merry Christmas to all and have yourselves a lot with wonderful family and friends

@Briggett Thanks and I hope you have a good Christmas too☺️

I've seen several of my faves but only in zoos, never in their natural habit. I would like to see some of the more exotic birds, a platypus would be cool and other than the crazy places I'd have to go to see it a snow leopard.

A grizzly bear

I have seen black bear in my yard but never grizzy
HumanEarth · 56-60, M
I live almost an hr drive from the city. I see deer, fox, skunk, chipmunks, badgers, gophers and even moose

We even have a problem eagles, hawks and falcons stealing and killing our chickens
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@HumanEarth the sheer size of grizzlies/kodiaks is intimidating to most people, but honestly I'm more afraid of black bears (which are common around here) just because they tend to be more temperamental
HumanEarth · 56-60, M
Oh, I don't want to be a stupid ass and want to physically touch any bear.

I'm weird, a little crazy, but I'm not fucking stupid.

I want to be far enough away, but close enough to get some good photographs with my old film camera

Many. Out of those more realistic in the wildlife would be an European wild cat, lynx and a badger.

Wombats and Capybaras
I occasionally see deer walking around in the cul-de-sac by my folks’ house up in the hills, when I visit.

But what I’d love to see in person, is a koala. 🐨
Kangaroos, platypus, and koalas
