I want to be here... [I Love Hiking In the Wilderness]

@Blodyn I don't know. It would be weird not having my dog, so I would probably spend at least a day crying, he was my best friend for a long time. My hiking time dropped off significantly after he passed away.
Company would probably be cool, it's mostly about getting away from civilization for a while. I haven't been back packing in a couple years, it would be nice to go now.

Taking a cat hiking doesn’t sound the same. Sorry about your dog. One of the dogs on the farm is nearing the end of her days. She’s 13 and lovely. @UnderLockDown

@Blodyn My cat is pretty clingy, she might do OK.😆 She doesn't really like other people, but in the hills it might not be a problem. I was just wondering if she would wear a harness, but I would be horribly upset if anything happened to her.

@UnderLockDown I don’t imagine a cat wearing anything! Probably just better let her do whatever cats do! But thanks for your original post and your beautiful photos. Everyone else is tearing each other to bits over the election. You seem to have the only sane voice on this site right now.
