Is it hard to use a high pressure washer?

Never used one before, but want to buy one to do the large patio area with while my partner is away.

They aren't hard to use but you do have to be careful how you use it.

Keep the spray away from exposed skin... it stings if you spray yourself/somebody else with it.

Be careful how you adjust the nozzle and how close it is to the thing being washed. If the jet is too narrow and the distance too small you can easily drill holes in things.

Don't accidentally go on to loose stones if you have a gravel border: they'll fly everywhere like ricocheting bullets.
