Vivaci It is one of my favorite places. And they have a lot more models of DC buildings and monuments, including the Botanic Garden itself. I looked at the model, and at the shape of the glass roof, then looked up at the same roof!
It was warm in the jungle exhibit. I had to remove my jacket! The desert exhibit was nice, too. I swear every time I visit it, the Golden Barrel cacti have gotten bigger! I love those guys!
Usually they have a room with model trains this time of year, with a long line of families waiting to see it. I never waited in line, so never saw it up close. But this year they put it all outside on a lawn, with no line! Sorry, I did not upload any of my photos to SW. I am not on my phone now.
I walked their rose garden and there was one lone pink-white rose flower, opening a little. In December! I stuck my nose in it and inhaled. It was pleasant.
