What do you grow in your garden?

I have been reading how good gardening is for us, not only fresh air and fresh food, bees and butterflies (if we are lucky), physical activity and connecting to nature, but for underlying things like stress.
While birds sing, I feel stress shedding off every time I’m out there.🌷🌷🌷🌷 It also works as an antidote to disheartening news reports, I planted some lettuce and spinach to start with as I have never grown my own veg before.

Looks good 🙂

I am still trying to get to grips with an inherited garden in our new home. This year a lilac bush has been fantastic (lots of sun and no wind or rain to knock off the blossom) and has kept hundreds of bees happy.

I will plant out tomatoes and chillis shortly.

@SunshineGirl I'm trying to make my garden more for the wildlife. I have a couple of buddleias or butterfly bushes I hope will help.
