Any Vegetable Gardeners Here?

Im going to try and grow head lettuce this year. Iceberg and Romaine. Has anyone grown them before and have any insights?

200' back by 100' when i first bought this place back in 1983... you could buy non gmo seeds and the yeald was good 4 rows of corn , 24 tomato 🍅 plants many rows of beats and beans.... life was good....
