Any Vegetable Gardeners Here?

Im going to try and grow head lettuce this year. Iceberg and Romaine. Has anyone grown them before and have any insights?

Lettuce grows best within a temperature range from 45 to about 80f degrees. Hot weather makes it bitter & burnt; extreme cold freezes it to death.
