Any Vegetable Gardeners Here?

Im going to try and grow head lettuce this year. Iceberg and Romaine. Has anyone grown them before and have any insights?

I've only grown romaine because it's much more healthy. My biggest issue with it is rabbits and insects. You will need a good fence and natural pesticide.

@CougarLisa Yes romantic romaine is very good for you....
