when do you put your garden veggies in the ground?

About a month ago, here in California. The growing season starts so much earlier than in Indiana where I'm originally from (often didn't plant anything until late May).
@SW-User i thought you could grow all year long there. you should get a big green house

@DIABLISS You can, theoretically, though this winter temps dropped down to around freezing enough that it would've ruined most veggies. I can grow things from potentially March through November here though.
