I Love to Garden

We spend the afternoon tilling our garden spot.
Last fall, we spread cow manure, lime and potash and covered it with clear plastic.
We tilled it all in deep today, tomorrow we will spread more potash, and dry leaves on the garden and till it in good.
Now I know what they mean when they say,
Working the garden!

That's how I ended up with arthritis in my left shoulder. I had a lady sized Mantis rototiller, and I was remediating the soil in my kidney shaped garden to a depth of 12 inches. After that I couldn't turn my head all the way to the left...got myself into THREE parking accidents in one year...馃槀. I had to have surgery, and now I can actually...park! 馃槀

@4meAndyou I have a Troy Bilt Bronco I brought here from Indiana. And a Mantis that I've had for years! Both are mean machines. 馃榿
I figured we tilled down 9 inches... the soil is sandy here... after 9 inches or so.. I see hard sandstone so..
