Doesn’t that hurt the fish to have a hook in its mouth?
BizSuitStacy · M
@Carissimi I can tell you they don't like it much. However, if you handle them properly, they'll survive quite well with little more than a lip piercing.

Is@BizSuitStacy @Carissimi my big money tournament was won using a barbless hook. Yes i accidently forgot to make a donation to aspca.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Carissimi Yes, but I remove the hooks, and I have never caught one by hand.

@Carissimi yes it would but we've all been to dentists and are grateful when we finally get returned back to the general public after

@atlantic59 But we go to the dentist to relieve or prevent pain and suffering, and it’s our choice. A fish swimming around minding its own business is not in pain until the human decides to inflict it for their own pleasure. I’ve never understood how some humans can enjoy something by inflicting pain and suffering on other creatures.

@WillaKissing The outcome is the same for the fish.

@WillaKissing I can understand fishing for survival. I can’t understand fishing for sport. I don’t like either one for the fish, but I understand survival, and what must be done, although I don’t have to like it. It’s the inflicting pain on creatures for the “fun” of it that makes me recoil.

@Carissimi I am in disagree with you on inflicting pain on fish a sporting fun. You do you and your beliefs, and I will do me and mine.
