Really feeling the pull of the hilltops

The most recent camping I did was in a campervan, which I don't really class as camping. When it comes to sleeping in a tent camping, the last time I did that was Christmas (I know - daft time of the year. However, I'd had a misunderstanding with a friend and needed to get away for a couple of nights). That wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be.

However, with this fabulous (hot) weather in the UK, I'm really feeling the urge to take myself off to a hilltop again and spend a couple of nights in relative solitude with my dog, I favour the UK Lake District and always follow the code of leaving nothing behind but footprints

i'd love to try a camper van / small motorhome .....

@gandalf1957 - As long as you can cope with the lack of space and banging your head on the roof, it was fun. 🤣 Plenty of freedom to go where you wanted (within reason as some places had signs up saying 'No Campervans')

@UKNaturist OK - i would like to do Land's End to John O' Groats over a number of days by camper van. It appears it would be cheaper tobuy a pre owned than hire one :-(
