Then I see snow and start shivering and have to pull the blanket up over my shoulders (or get up and get my fleece jacket to put on) while I am watching. It is comforting to watch the flames in a camp fire or in a wood stove that has a glass door though.

The ex and I used to cold camp in a tent. It was the only time the campground cleared out, and we had the luxury of letting our dogs run. We used to sit glued to the campfire, had a tent heater, and I ended up with BOTH dogs inside my sleeping bag...😂😂😂

@4meAndyou Those tent heaters are good in the winter. I didn’t realize how popular they were till I started watching you tube videos
